Stabilization of solution in Solute transport plysics interface

Hi everybody,

Does anybody know, is the stabilization technique applied when using Solute transport physics interfacee (esst)? I switch on it's showing but nothing appears on interface setting window (while I found it in transport of diluted species interface).

I am solving an advective/dispersive transport equation (with sorption and decay) in some enlongated (17 m heigth and 2600 m long) geometry and encountered issues of negative concentration and oscilations in solution. Up to now I concluded that this is related to mesh and timesteps, however still looking for reasonable background to define these issues (mesh size and timestep). Does anybody has an applicable measures for them? Peclet and Courant number?

In comsol blog there is some explanation of these oscilations, and solutions mentioned, however I could not find them in the plysics I am using...

Many thanks in advance.
Asta
