Applying distributed torque

This is a fairly common problem that people have, but I need to apply a distributed torque to my model based on some results from a previous calculation step.

I know that the usual response is to apply a load that mimics the torque. The problem is that my distributed torque is complicated. For a simple rectangular block, the torque distribution roughly has the form T = tanh(a*x) zhat + tanh(b*y) xhat [units of torque per volume] inside the block. For a more complicated geometry, the result is far more complex. This quantity is calculated by measuring an angular momentum transfer, but there are no forces involved in the transfer.
