Hi everyone,

I'm trying to simulate 2D axisymmetric system, composed by a two layers wire surrounded by a coil, the electromagnetic flux is guided by a flux concentrator that surrounds the thread and the coil.
My objective is to study the induction, the eddy currents and the forces in the wire.
In this case, the coil is connected to a constant current source and the eddy current are induced in the wire by moving it in the Z direccion.
How can I simulate it?
By the moment I’m trying to simulate the system using the ale physics but I’m probably not defining the system boundaries correctly.
So if someone could lend me a hand for:
- If the ale method is the proper one, how to define it.
- If there’s a more suitable method for the analysis explain me which one should I use and how.
I'd like to post the model but it's too heavy

Thanks,
Adrián

PD: I've alreay followed step by step www.comsol.com/community/forums/general/thread/26401/, and I managed to simulate it correctly though I'm not able to do it in my model.
