Flow through a vertical 2-way manifold

For a project I am currently working on I am trying to model the cooling water-flow distribution over a vertical 2-way pipe manifold with dispersed coarse particles. In the current operation the cooling water-flow is distributed asymmetrically over the lateral pipes causing several issues in the downstream operations.

As I am completely new to using COMSOL, I am finding it hard to get the geometry of the system in place. My initial thought was to bring in a vertical cylinder and to connect it with two horizontal cylinders to represent the manifold.

Can someone explain to me how to get the three cylinders connected where it represents a 3D 2-way manifold through which the fluid/particles flow can modeled?
