Modifying Equations in Comsol

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hi Everybody,

We are simulating a water vapor particle rising in water. For the interactions between water and vapor, we need to modify the continuity equation as it is presented in the picture attached.

My question is: how I can add this source term on the right side into the continuity equation?
( I actually need to add some other terms to energy, transport and continuity equations)
Is there any way to verify this change, after I make it? I mean where can I see the modified form of the equation to be sure it is correct.

An idea could be to add a weak contribution by right clicking the physics model. Or should we write them in as weak expressions in the equations view?

Maybe it also worths to mention that there are two physics models, Heat Transfer and Multiphase Flow-Phase Field.

We would appreciate any answers!!

Thanks!

I have the same problem as well, hope someone can help.
