Hi Folks,

I am trying to calculate the bandstructure for AIR holes in Si dielectric. I first created a model based on the example (www.comsol.com/model/download/237211/models.woptics.bandgap_photonic_crystal.pdf) in COMSOL KB.
The only difference being different geometry size, material and Air holes in Si instead of the example (which is vice-versa).

When I run the simulation, the eigenfrequency solver completes but, the stationary solver fails to converge. I had tried to modify the sovler settingw withou any success. Has anyone delt with this kind of problem before ? Can someone help ?

Regards,
Vittal
