segmentation fault

I am Systemsadministrator and i have following problem:
As one of the employees executes remotely "comsol35 matlab" on a "debian 5.0" machine, he receive following error message:
/usr/local/bin/colsol35: line 1306 29954 Segmentation fault ${MPICMD} ${MLCMD} ${MLARGS} ${MLR} ${MLRUN}
This message appears after 1 and a half days after executing the command.
Does someone have an idea about this?
