To find stress constants on Photonic crystal fiber structure?

I am trying to find out the stress constants on a 2D Hi-Bi PCF structure, which can be used to find out the birefringence pressure sensitivity. I tried with the structural mechanics module, where the 2D structure was designed and boundary load was applied on the surface.

Once I am simulating it I am getting an error stating
Failed to find a solution, relative error is more than relative tolerance?

Is there any solution for that?

Hello Siraj,
Hard to say for sure without seeing your mph file, but my guess would be that you may not have imposed sufficient boundary conditions to eliminate all rigid body motions (see www.comsol.com/community/forums/general/thread/95201/ ).
Best,
Jeff
