frequency-transient equavalent simulation method

Hi,
I am wondering whether it is possible to do a simualtion by taking a method which is equavalent to the frequency-transient solver.
For example, i'd like to perform a electromagnetic heating by using the frequency solver to compute the electrmagnetic field ,and the time-dependent solver to calculate the thermal field. However, i dont know exactly the way to conduct this kind of simulation. It just not equavalent to the results simulated by the frequency-transient solver.
