smooth function

Hi everyone,

I want to construct a smooth function about the following situation,

the reaction rate is equal to k*c

the initial c = 1000, when c = 0, the reaction rate = 0.

how to use "flc1hs" to define the smooth function?

Thanks,

Yishan

I think you just need to use a condition (c>0) to stop reaction in your model. Type k*c*(c>0) and it will do the job.

Hi

in V4 you have the step and pluse functions in the model definitions

in V4 you need to call the heaviside functions as you propose, there are aseveralé threads about this on the forum, and try search your doc for "flc1hs(" (without the "")

Good luck
