Hi, all. I am trying to simulate the effect of in-situ stress on formation velocity near the borehole. The problem is that I do not know how to set the maximum horizontal principal stress and minimum horizontal principal stress of linear elastic material under the solid mechanics module, assuming that the formation is linear elastic medium. Any help would be appreciated.
