Content Coordinator

COMSOL, Inc. is seeking a a full-time content coordinator to join our Content team onsite in Burlington, MA.

Job Description

If you are interested in science and engineering, enjoy project planning, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, then this is the job for you. As part of our Content team, you will be directly involved in planning, publishing, and maintaining a variety of technical content on the COMSOL website. You will start working primarily on coordinating and publishing tasks related to our blog, landing pages for sales and marketing, and social media pages. You will collaborate closely with other teams and departments.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the content manager in keeping the blog up-to-date and engaging
    • Add new blog authors to WordPress on an as-need basis
    • Publish blog posts written by our contributors on a weekly basis
    • Assist in managing the blog calendar
    • Regularly refresh the banners on the blog
    • Update published blog posts and remove old blog posts per request
    • Work with our Creative and Product Information teams to help generate eye-catching images for blog posts
  • Help prepare and publish landing pages for sales and marketing campaigns
  • Prepare and send weekly emails to our blog subscribers
  • Help coordinate our social media content plans and schedule a variety of posts for our social networks via Buffer
  • Assist the translation manager with blog translation projects and tasks
  • Assist in publishing press releases on an as-needed basis
  • Schedule interviews

Required Skills

  • Attention to detail
  • Excellent ability to manage your time and prioritize tasks
  • WordPress publishing experience or familiarity with HTML
  • Strong understanding of the English language, grammar, syntax, and information organization
  • Problem-solving nature
  • Current eligibility to work in the U.S.; no sponsorship for employment-based visas will be offered for this position

Helpful Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, English, or a related field
  • Interest in science and engineering
  • Knowledge of best practices in SEO and social media
  • Positive, driven team player
