Object not allowed in selection

Hi
I was trying to build a plate with a hole so I built them as two boxes and did Boolean subtract. Then I got this error. "Object not allowed in selection"
I tried deleting the boxes or the Boolean part but I cannot delete any thing from geometry, as each time I get the same error and they wont be deleted.
Note : This is not my first Boolean operation in this project. I make a big box to cover everything and subtract all from it (It is surrounding air)

Please help as my project is stuck now
