Help with continuity and Poisson's equations.

Hi,

I'm pretty new to COMSOL and just trying to understand how it all works! I'm attempting to solve the two equations as seen in the attachment at the same time where mu, D and epsilon are constants....

The problem is each is dependent on the solution of the other, is it possible to solve the above in COMSOL and if so are there any modifications that I need to make to the Solver to get the above to work? So far COMSOL isn't throwing back any errors but I'm pretty sure that the obtained solution isn't correct. I'm solving the above over a simple 2D axisymmetric geometry.

Also what is the easiest way to calculate the current density from the above within COMSOL for a steady state solution.

If anyone can help it would be much appreciated!

Cheers
Will
