I am trying to model a 3-D system of spheres in contact enclosed by walls. I am applying a force on the top sphere and have put a fixed constraint on the walls. I have formed a union of the entire system. I am using plasticity under linear elastic material node. I have tried physics controlled meshes ranging from normal to extremely fine. I have also included geometric non-linearity. I am consistently getting an error message.
I am attaching the file for your reference.
"Failed to find a solution.
Maximum number of Newton iterations reached.
There was an error message from the linear solver.
The relative error (6.6e+002) is greater than the relative tolerance.
Returned solution is not converged."
