Piezoelectric Simulation Without MEMS Module

Is it possible to simulate piezoelectric materials without the MEMs Module and just the piezoelectric material option under structural mechanics?

I have done some basic simulations of cantilevers and beams but not piezoelectric. Any insights will be helpful.

Hello Jason,
There are capabilities for piezoelectric modeling in the MEMS Module, the Structural Mechanics Module and the Acoustics Module. Some of those capabilities are in common to all three, others are unique to the MEMS Module.
You can compare those capabilities in the Specification Chart ( www.comsol.com/products/specifications/ ) by searching for "piezo".
Best regards,
Jeff
