how to model evanescent effect from two optical pulses propagating in the same waveguide

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Dear Users

Now I have deposited a thin film on top of a SiN waveguide and I applied two optical pulses with different wavelengths into this SiN waveguide and I want to model model temperature effect inside the material influenced by the two pulses. Based on the dielectric waveguide module, I can apply port boundary conditions for only one single pulse. Then what will be the boundary condition for the two optical pulses that propagate in one waveguide. Do I just need to add one more port boundary condition for the second optical pulse? Many thanks for your help.

best regards
Lei
