Couple Solid State Mechanics (solid) to Electromagnetic Waves (emw)

Hello all,

I am trying to calculate how the thermal expansion of a particle influences its interaction with a laser beam, but when I try to couple the "solid" physics to "emw" physics in a "Frequency-Transient study", it just doesn't work. I guess it was because "solid" module doesn't have a frequency component at all. Then I tried weak coupling, where I did a "time-dependent" study with the "solid" module first, and then a "Frequency transient study" with "emw". I tried to ask the second study ('frequency-transient'') to use the values obtained from the first one ("time domain"). However, it doesn't work.

I saw a post saying that selecting the "include geometric nonlinearity" will be the key. However, I tried that it still doesn't work. Please help! Thank you very much for your time and attention! I sincerely appreciate it!

Best,

Jeremy
