components couple problem：how to transfer data between components

Hello,
Now I'm do a simulation with two compnents, one is 2D model., the other is 3D model. I want transfer the 3Dmodel data which is a displasment of a point to the 2Dmodel every time step. the method I'm using now is just write the variable name of the 3D model in the 2D model like "comp2.displacement". But when I tried to calculate the model together, it prompts me" Tags: conpar2:Automatic sequence error is generated." I don't why. can anyone help me? thank you!
