How should I model a ball falling on a structure, or hitting it with a prescribed velocity?

Hi,

I am trying to build a model in which a ball falls on a structure. The structure is built in shell physics and the ball could be solid or shell. I prefer the ball to be shell to have all of my model in this physics. I was not able to find any tutorial on this problem. Model is finalized with form an assembly with contact pairs. I was able to assign the contact surfaces in the definition node but it looks like there is no option for contact pairs in the shell node. After running the study, ball does not see the structure and passes through it. What am I doing wrong? Is there any approach?
