Using Pulsed Source in Electrical Circuits Physics with Frequency Dependent Study

I am able to connect an "electrical circuits" physics to "electrical current" in comsol. Using Frequency Domain study I understand that I can use AC and DC voltage source. However, the COMSOL guide says that Pulsed Source and Sine source can be used with time dependent study only. Since our materials are dependent on frequency, is there another way to give input pulses through electrical circuits physics ?
