Drag Force Calculation for a Micro Robot in a Liquid

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hi,

I'm a bit stuck at the computation of a drag force where in liquid material. There is no laminar or turbelent flow in system which means water is stationary so, I just want to observe the force which is occured by the robotic arm movement in the liquid. I'd like to do time dependent-fsi analysis for a constant speed that's 1 micro_meter/sec(Robot speed). I'm looking forward to calculate to drag force on a boundary of the robot however there are always errors like stifness matrix, NAN/inf etc.

I uppload attachment file to explain my problem better. Can anyone help me for such kind of a problem

Best,
