Optical transmittance of the rectangular substrate (2D)

I have questions related modeling of optical transmittance in a rectangular substrate in an air. I use RF module. The monochromatic plane wave is perpendicular to the top side of rectangular. Is there anybody know how to create a model? I am not familiar with PML or scattering boundary conditions. May be I need them?

Hi

go through some of the optical RF (and generic multi-physics RF) examples, then I'm sure you will find answers to most of your questions

Good luck
