ray optics - amount of rays that hit in a domain

Hi, I am trying to build a fiber in the ray optics module. Some of the rays hit at the outer domains of the fiber, and I would like to figure out how much from the total ray hit in each domain. Does someone know how I can do that?
Also, is there a way to split a domain into several domains, so that I can see exactly how much from the total ray hit in each part of the original domain?
