how to distinguish TE and TM modes among lots of differently gerometric waveguide

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

As we know , if we want to dinstinguish TE and TM modes, we can select the Ex component to plot the TE polarization and the Ey component for the TM mode.
It is easy for us to distinguish Modes by selecting Ex or Ey to plot by hand .

But if we want to make Parametric Sweep, it means we create lots of differently geometric structure.
You can see the attachment
We should distinguish by hand every time when we face a new structure,it is so complicated .

so do you have a quick way method to solve this problem?

Thank you in advance
