Comsol asking for Dynamic viscosity

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hello,

I am pretty new for COMSOL. I am trying to build a simple model of a heat exchanger foundation. The model is part of solid and fluid, I, therefore choose Turbulent Flow and Heat Transfer in Fluids. When assigning material properties I use the blank material function to create for soil but it asks me to fill in dynamic viscosity. I do not know the value to fill to soil. I have attached the model photo I am working on.

Thanks in advance for your help.
Theary

Hello Lay,
Given the high aspect ratio in your geometry, using a pipe formulation may make sense from the perspective of memory usage and computational time.
Check out these blogs an the links from there for an introduction to the approach I am referring to:

Best,

PS: You will also find blogs and tutorials on full 3D conjugate heat transfer on the website, see e.g. www.comsol.com/blogs/?s=conjugate+heat
