I am not just a complete beginner in Comsol, I am also just a computer engineer, and have no relationship with Physics, Chemistry, or Energy. You can consider me trying to learn Comsol for educational purposes.
There's something in my mind that I am trying to simulate and I'm not sure where to start. If you have any non-nerd friendly documentation it is highly appreciated. I will probably never use any mathematical equations, I will be using Comsol as a basic simulation software for very simple applications.
What I am trying to simulate:
1. Solar water distiller design. 2 or 3 magnifier lenses that focus the rays of the sun to generate heat in a glass jar under direct sun light. The design should be able to produce distilled water on its own without any extra power consumption. In order to know the most efficient design, I should start trial-&-error.
2. The optimal size of a cone shaped object to act as a natural air conditioner for homes. I want to know which size, tube length and perhaps material that can cool hot air from outside, and how much temperature difference it can achieve. What is the most optimal dimensions?
I am not a scientist but I will be able to produce something given the appropriate resources. If you believe that Physics & Math are absolute requirements, please let me know.
