take phase derivative with respect to the frequency

Hello,
I want to calculate the group delay of my transmission line and now I meet a problem. I think the way to calculate the group delay is to calculate d(phi)/d(f). If I use the post processing domain plot and I choose a certain point, I can get the amplitude and phase, when I write d(u_ph_smps, freq_smps), it shows zero all the time. I am not sure if I do it in a correct way. Also I have a doubt about the amplitude and phase value (eg in x-direction) of my certain point. Is it the same value like in a bode plot I can get? Hope someone can help me! Thanks a lot!
