Define Variable with Condition

I have some problem to define a variable.
I have two equations:
a) hs=3500-12400w for w<=0.05
b) hs=2950-1400w for w>0.05
hs will be used into Ds=(2.27x10^-7)exp(-hs/RT) and also define as variable.
How to write in the variable definition for above conditions?
