Laser hair removal - 2D cylindric axial symmetry model

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hi, this is my first experience with COMSOL. I use version 5.0
I am trying to model laser hair removal for 2 different skin types - light and dark (which differ in absorption coefficient).
The model should have 3 pulses of 200 msec, and I need to take into account Gaussian laser pulses.
I read all the relevant examples, but still very confused. '
Which physics should I work with?
How do I take into account Gaussian laser with cylindric coordinate system?

I attach scheme of the model - it consists of Epidermis-upper layer, Dermis-lower layer and hair (shaft+follicle) in the center.
I will appreciate any help.
