creating multiple cut planes

I am trying to integrate over an xy cut plane, for multiple xy planes spaced equally along the z axis. (then i am going to plot the integral solution vs z). currently i am doing this by creating a separate cut plane for each integration. but i have many cut planes and it is becoming very tedious! is there a way to create some kind of a batch cycle to create multiple cut planes at once? thanks!

Hi

in 2D you can add additional parallle lines for a Line cut. Just notice that the range you define is positive in the up normal direction of the edge/line, and that is in the counter-clock wise direction. In other words the range you enter should be negative for default 0,0 to 0,1 direction lines

This has NOT (yet ?) been implemented into 3D cut planes I see
(why not send a mai to support as a suggestion ;)

Good luck

Not sure about back at version 4.1, but there are currently (i.e.at version 5.2) at least two easy ways to do this: see www.comsol.com/community/forums/general/thread/94851/
Best,
Jeff
