Concentric Tube Thin Resistive Layer Interface Question

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

I am new to comsol and trying to model a simple concentric tube heat exchanger. My problem is that I am trying to model as two fluid domains and then define the interface as a thin resistive layer of 0.027" thick with a thermal conductivity of 100 W/ m k. I can't get the soultion to solve I keep getting errors. I have a feeling that the thin resistive layer is not seperating my two fluids. Can anyone tell me how to fix this? Do I have to have a solid interface between the two fluids?

Thanks, Mike
