How to input gradient of pressure?

Hi, I am currently working on vanadium redox flow batteries. There is a Schloegl's equation in the membrane which relates the gradient of pressure and the electrolyte potential to the velocity of electrolyte in the membrane. I have a doubt regarding, how to input the the gradient of pressure and electrolyte potential.

For the 2D model, you have to define two components of velovcity (in x and y directions) separately in the variable, then put those components in the membrane physics.
