Do you need Special Treatment to initial condition of 2D axisymmetric model

Dear all,
I set up a 2D axisymmetrc model in which I deed to input initial stress. I just input three indentical initial stress in the three principal diagonal of the stress matrix. Now I encounter a series of convergence issues. I am not sure whether I need to do some special treatments to the initial stress. Could you please do me a favor about that? Thank you for your help and time.
