Very sharp resonance Simulation in frequency domain

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hi,

I want to analyze a structure with a very sharp dip in frequency domain. I can not use frequency domain analysis at first because there is a very little chance that my frequency sweep sense that special dip frequancy. So, before using frequency domain analysis, I have to find out my dip frequency with a very high precision. For this purpose, I tried to use Eigenfrequency solver as the first step, but I dont know what kind of Ports I sould use to stimulate my structure. I have periodic boundary conditoins for my side walls. It would be great if anyone can help me with this problem or introduce me an example in Comsol that use up eigenfrequency solver.

Thanks a lot.
