How is "Losses" in coil parameter (mef) defined?

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hallo, I have built a model of transforemr winding and am trying to calculate the losses in this model besides the capacitance and inductance at different frequeices。

I have chosen "magnetic and electric fields " (mef) as the physics and "single-turn coil" for the winding conductors.

I want to know how is Losses defined? Is it the option "Power" in coil parameter (mef) global evaluation? I already know that this "power" is calculated as R*Ieff^2.

But I want to know if there are some explanation in the reference maunual book. I have checked but didn´t find any explanation.

It would be highly appreciated if someone can help me with this problem.
