Fluid Porous Interface velocity

[start here] As you mentioned : I was getting a jump in tangential velocities across interface. I was hoping that by switching to Brinkman law in the region of higher permeability I would be able to get a smooth transition in velocity across the interface.

How did you resolve this issue? Is it realistic to get jump in velocity near the interface? Thanks.
