Visualization Transparency

Does anyone know how to control transparency of a particular plot?

For instance, I would like to show what is happening in the contact area of two bodies in contact, while simultaneously showing the two bodies.

Ideally, I could mirror the solution of the second body since it was solved as a symmetric problem. In this way, I could visualize both bodies and the contact area would not be hidden.

However, I would be content with just controlling transparency of the plot.

Dear Marcus

Have a look here: www.ch.comsol.com/community/forums/general/thread/16157/
In addition, you can control the magnitude of the transparency under Model 1 > Definitions > View 1 (in 3D: see attached image).

I hope this helps!

Best regards,

Zoran

This is helpful for occluded geometry, but it does not affect the transparency of plotted solutions.

Perhaps I should have been more specific.

Does anyone know the solution to this? I am having the same issue - I can have transparencies when viewing the model geometry, but not when plotting results.
