Eletric Field Distribution

I was using COMSOL 4.0. My geometry is very simple. .1 micron thick Cu pads on 0.2 micron thick SiO2 substrates. There is air between the two pads. I give 2 V at one pad and ground on other pad. By this I want to get the field distribution between the pads in air. But when I compute it gives "Singular Matrix Error"
