Hello,

I will like to know what kind of license are you using for your company or university, a term or perpetual license? Why you selected that kind of license? and finally, if you have selected the perpetual license, do you renew your suscription every year?
The issue is that I need to select a kind of license for my company and i want enrich my decision with the opinion of others.

Best Regards,

Santiago

Hi

on my side we have two location with each a dedicated PC and two separate dedicated node-locked licences, one per site. We are 2-3 user of COMSOL per site so we share the PC between us, anyhow once you launch a decent simulation the PC is blocked for some time ;)

We have, on each site our yearly maintenance, this works fine for us ;) and industrial not academic licences though

With the maintenace you have good support, and new updates, I find it fully worth the costs, compared the quality of the product, and compare to other FEM tools I have used so far.
