Specifying initial condition as an expression/function in transient problems?

Hello,
I am solving a transient heat transfer problem in version 4.2 and would like to specify a spatially varying temperature distribution (i.e. T=F(x)) as the initial temperature of the domain . Could you tell me how can I achieve this?

Hi
well exactly as you wrote it, use "x" or "X" depending on your model, check which is referring to the original Reference frame, i.e. "X" if with solid physics included
Most GUI window entry lines are for equations, you should read it per X,Y,Z, or rather what is applying to a small element dx*dy*dz
