Hello, I am looking to use COMSOL to create a simulation involving the interactions between photons and a resonator.
I found a large amount of benefit looking through this tutorial on the matter https://www.comsol.com/video/simulating-metamaterials-in-the-terahertz-regime-with-comsol-multiphysics
I just want to be clear on the physical interpretation here. What is the utility of looking at the electric field values around the resonator?
Are they using the strength of the electric field as somehow analogous to seeing how light propagates here?
