Using variable valid at one boundary as physics parameter in different domain

However, as the concentration is not defined within the electrolyte domain the variable definition is not valid. Is there a way of achieving this? I do not want to modell any kind of transport within the electrolyte domain. I thought about using probes, but somehow this does work out either.
