Stator permanent magnets orientation

Good afternoon,
Im doing my thesis in COMSOL, 2D, and i have a doubt about how to orientate PM that are put in the stator. Im working with a double salient machine, based on an article, and the same have two PM between every two poles. When I simulate with diferent values of permeability and other parameters, it seems like the PM as no orientation of North-South. My orientator told me to define each side of the PM as N-S, but not even he knows how to do it, neither do I.
