Can I detect the change in pH value inside a crevice?

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hello Everyone,

I am trying to simulate crevice corrosion by modeling a crevice with nickel on one side of the crevice and plexiglass (insulator) on the other side. The simulation runs out well and the deformation is happening accordingly as it should as per the IR mechanism. But I wish to see if there is a pH change happening inside the crevice too! Is there a mechanism by which I can see the same?

I would appreciate any inputs!

Thanks in advance.
