Hi everybody,
I have the same question with this discussion: https://www.comsol.kr/…/pressure-wave-generation-due-to-the…
It's about laser-ultrasonics simulation, the first phenomenon is laser heating is now ok.
But to link between thermal stress and acoustic, I found this research: https://www.sciencedirect.com/…/artic…/pii/S0041624X14002327
They mentioned about " A prescribed displacement (in r and z directions) boundary condition was set in order to impose the thermal displacement, the output of the thermal stress module, as the input of the acoustic one."
However, I am not sure about this step.
So can anyone can suggest to me how to deal with this problem?
Thank you for your time.
