Simulate with imported mesh

Hi, I have a .nas format imported to comsol as mesh. However, when I create geometry from imported mesh, another component is created. I wonder wether it is possible to create geometry with imported mesh in one component so that simulation can be run on it. I will be very grateful for your guide.
