I use the partial differential equation solution module in comsol to solve the dynamic model of flexible cables.
a, b, c, d are constant coefficients
The initial conditions required for the flexible cable dynamic model include the initial geometry of the cable, but if the initial geometry cannot be described by the function, and the initial condition can be obtained by measuring the spatial coordinates of some discrete points. How to add such initial conditions to partial differential equations.
In addition, if the boundary condition is a mixed boundary condition, for example, the masses are connected to the two end points of the cable,
how should it be added in comsol?
