Hi looking for a reliable way to get dispersion sheets and isofrequency contours for 2D photonic crystals. so far the eigensolver has been finding eigenvalues which do not give the 2D sheet version of dispersion curves.
I have been successful in defining the floquet boundary and varying the block vector in magnitude and angles all that is left is a way to organize the eigenfrequencies on a ω,kx,ky plot such that the bandgaps become clear. also, taking this plot and slicing it to retrieve the contours is important.
thanks!
