pressure acoustic, frequency domain.

Hi

I'm using the pressure acoustic, freqency domain node to modeling the standing plane wave in an inviscid fluid. Frequency is 1.5 MHz, the speed of sound in the fluid is 1500 m/s, wavelength is 1000 um and my incident wave direction is along the z axis, so my block dimensions are 500 * 500 * 500 in 3D. When my component is 3D, operating the standing plane wave just depends on the dimention along the z axis (direction of the incident wave), but when my component is 2D, operating the standing plane wave pedends the both directions x-axis and y-axis , and actually it is just operated when my cube dimensions are 1000*500 (direction of the incident wave in 2D is along the y-axis). Why does this happen in two dimensions?

Tkank you.
